Saveonlaptops usually sells the HP 650 (Part number C5C49EA#ABU) for around £347 but you can now get this Core i3 laptop for £100 less thanks to a HP-backed cashback scheme that’s valid till the end of next month.
At £247.48, this is by far the cheapest, brand new Core i3 laptop on the market, at a price that’s even cheaper than Celeron or AMD E-series based laptops. What’s even more spectacular is the fact that it comes with Windows 8 Professional which costs around £100 on its own.
Other features include an Intel Core i3-2328M dual core processor clocked at 2.2GHz with 3MB cache and an Intel HD Graphics 3000 video solution, a 15.6in 1,366 x 768 pixel display with Anti-Glare, 4GB of RAM, 320GB hard disk drive, a DVD writer, a card reader, VGA, HDMI, up to six hours battery life, three USB 2.0 ports, Wi-Fi and a weight of 2.4Kg.
The laptop doesn’t come with Bluetooth or a dedicated numeric keypad but it does have Webroot Anti-virus download. In addition, you can extend the standard warranty to three years (Collect and Return, including unlimited delivery and collections, parts and labour but not accidents) for £49.97. Note that CCL sells a similar laptop but with a bigger hard drive for £262 (after cashback).
