You can get the Sony Xperia T smartphone for as little as £11 per month, that’s a total cost of ownership of only £264 over the duration of the two-year contract.
The plan, available on Telefonica-owned O2 via online retailer O2-deals, comes with 50 minutes, unlimited texts, 100MB internet and O2’s loyalty scheme (Priority moments). Note that the phone is refurbished which means that it is likely that it has been returned.
The smartphone itself is Sony’s former top of the range smartphone (it featured in James Bond’s Skyfall movie), sandwiched between the Xperia S and the recently released Xperia Z.
The Xperia T is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8260A dual-core SoC clocked at 1.5GHz, with 1GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage with a microSD card slot, a 4.6in Reality Display with a 1,280 x 720 pixel resolution and powered by the Bravia Engine, up to seven hours talk time, a 13-megapixel rear camera, NFC, full HD video recording, MHL, GPS Bluetooth 3.0 and much more.
It runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with a layer of custom UI on top. Check out our review of the Sony Xperia T smartphone here.
