Samsung Ativ smart PC tablet with keyboard down to £716

Misco has cut the price of the Samsung Ativ smart PC tablet down to a more palatable £716, a price that excludes delivery but includes a 60 day trial and a five year warranty.

The pair (also known as the XE500T1C-A02UK and the AA-RD7NMKD/UK) takes the form on an Atom-powered, Windows-based tablet with a full, magnetic joint Clamshell keyboard, that together, form an Ultrabook like device.

The Samsung Ativ smart PC runs on a dual-core Intel Atom Z2760 processor clocked at 1.8GHz, with a 64GB SSD, 2GB of RAM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, an 11.6in 1,366 x 768 pixel display, PowerVR SGX545 GPU, a 2-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel model at the back, up to 13.5 hours talk time thanks to a 31Whr battery, Windows 8 Professional and two speakers.

Note that amongst the other accessories you can get for this tablet are a power adaptor, a Slate PC dock cradle and a micro HDMI to VGA dongle.

Note also that there is a more expensive version of this tablet called the Ativ Smart Pro tablet PC that runs on an Intel Core processor and is the rough equivalent of Microsoft’s Surface Pro. You can check the review of that model, the ATIV Smart PC Pro 700T, here.
