Facebook Home won't be available to download from the Google Play store until 12 April, but if you're eager to try the social network-themed launcher sooner than that, you may be in luck.
A pre-release version of the software has been released by MoDaCo and, unlike the forthcoming version, which will be limited to five handsets, it can work with a wide swathe of mobile devices, including Google's Nexus 4 handset and Nexus 7 tablet.
Unsurprisingly, however, the leak is buggy and is lacking some features. For one, 'Chat Heads', which lets users see the face icons of people you're talking to, doesn't work. Moreover, the leak only works on devices with resolutions lower than 1,280 x 768 pixels and requires that you be able to completely uninstall your Android Facebook app.
The official release is only a few days away but if you can't wait, visit MoDaCo for complete instructions on how to get Facebook Home on your Android device today.
