The device, which Samsung calls a Life Companion, runs on a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 SoC clocked at 1.9GHz.
There’s 2GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5in Super AMOLED display with a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, NFC, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz user interface and a host of Samsung features like S health.
