£260 Packard Bell TE11 laptop with Windows 8

Dabs is selling the Packard Bell Easynote TE11 for £260 with free delivery and 259 nectar points. This laptop is available via the company’s outlet on eBay and represents a cracking offer.

It runs on a dual-core Intel Celeron B830 processor clocked at 1.8GHz with 2MB cache and Intel HD Graphics. Note that these Celeron CPUs are just scaled-back versions of their more powerful second generation Core siblings.

Other features include a full numeric keypad, a 15.6in 1,366 x 768 pixel display, 6GB of RAM, 500GB onboard storage, a DVD drive, Windows 8, a webcam, a card reader, a pair of speakers, a number of hot keys that allow one touch access to services, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, up to four hours battery life thanks to a six-cell battery, VGA, three USB ports (v2 rather than v3).

This is a fairly exciting deal given how cheap it is and how much technology is packed in this chassis. Other similarly priced competitors include the £200 Asus X401, the £230 Acer Aspire V5, the £274 Asus K55A and that gorgeous HP 650 Core i3 laptop and the £230 Medion MD98148 laptop.
