You can now get the Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone for a mere £15.50 a month from BuyMobilePhones on T-Mobile. If you want to get one, be quick as we suspect it might be a misprint given how cheap that it. It is around 25 per cent than the next cheapest contract offer (£20 a month).
The total cost of ownership, which stands at £372, is just slightly more expensive than the SIM free cost of the device itself.
The two year plan is understandably very light: you get to choose between 100 minutes, unlimited texts and 250MB or 50 minutes, 250 texts and 1GB. Both come with unlimited access to Wi-Fi on the London underground. The Samsung Galaxy S3 was unveiled last year in London and we reviewed it a while back.
The Galaxy S3 carries a premium over similar quad-core smartphones launched last year like the Nexus One (which costs less than £280) and the LG Optimus 4X HD (available from under £250).
It is powered by an Exynos 4412 SoC, a quad-core model clocked at 1.4GHz, 1GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, a 4.8in 1,280 x 720 pixel Super AMOLED display, an 8-megapixel camera and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
