Asus K55A laptop down to £380: A decent offer for a mainstream laptop

Check out the Asus K55A laptop which is available on preorder from SaveOnLaptops for a mere £380 with a free Webroot AV download.

The device, commonly known as the K55A-SX376H, runs on an Intel Core i5-3210M dual-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz (turboclocks to 3.1GHz) with 3MB cache and an Ivy Bridge architecture.

It has 6GB of RAM, a 500GB hard disk drive, a card reader, Windows 8 OS, a DVD writer, a 15.6in Asus Color-Shine display with a 1,366 x 768 pixel display and powered by an Intel HD 4000 Graphics subsystem, Wi-Fi, a webcam, three USB ports (including two v3 models), GbE Ethernet, VGA and HDMI connectors, integrated Altec Lansing sound systems and up to four hours battery life.

That very model is available in red and comes with a dedicated numeric keypad. Asus also offers a 3-year collect and return warranty for the laptop that includes accidental damage for £100. You can check out our review of the Asus K55A-SX373H which is a slightly different model.
