Techdeals4U is currently selling the i-Beast Transformer F12 tablet on eBay for £144 including free delivery and 144 Nectar points. There are three things that, IMHO, set it apart from the competition.
It includes 3G connectivity, comes with three year warranty and it is apparently 3D capable. The rest of the hardware is surprisingly capable at this price ad reminds us of the second generation Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.
You get a dual-core AllWinner A10 SoC clocked at 1GHz, 1GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot, a 10.1in IPS display with a 1,280 x 800 pixel resolution, HSPA+ compatibility, a rear 2-megapixel camera and a VGA front facing one, a 7,500mAh battery, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS (but no HDMI) and Android 4.0 ICS.
We’re intrigued by the tablet’s claim that it is 3D capable (more specifically, the listing says that the IPS display has 3D capabilities). But the killer feature is the mere fact that it can do 3G.
The only other tablet that offers this for roughly the same price is the Asus Fonepad, which is a 7in tablet with phone functionality and sells for £180.
