Samsung Galaxy S3 & Note 2 users get free stuff, Galaxy S4 ones forgotten

Smartphone giant Samsung is currently giving out a free 16GB memory card, videos, music and games worth £65 in total plus a two-year warranty to users that buy the Galaxy Note 2 phablet or the Galaxy S3 smartphone.

The promotion is only valid when you buy the phone brand new from a retailer or a network operator (so that excludes private purchases and eBay).

Both former top-end Samsung smartphones

Part of the offer (£20 worth of free content on Samsung’s Video Hub) and the free microSD card slot, will be valid till 30 April 2013 while another £45 worth of content can be obtained by the end of June 2013. You can find out more about the offer on Samsung’s dedicated offer page here.

The Galaxy S3 and the Note 2 were both past top-end smartphones for the mobile phone company.

Both smartphones superceded by the Galaxy S4

Both have been superseded by the Samsung Galaxy S4 which was launched mid-March and comes with some cracking features. You can check out our hands-on of that smartphone here and read the reviews of the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 here.

The Galaxy S3 is available on pay monthly contracts as cheap as £15.50 per month while the Galaxy Note 2 is available on contracts from a mere £20.50 per month.
