Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini down to £220

The price of the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini handset has fallen down a fair bit and it can now be had from e_cell, a top-rated seller from eBay for as little as £220, a price that includes 220 Nectar points. Note that the device, which is also known as the i8190, comes unlocked.

The smartphone, whose specification left us sorely quite disappointed, runs a dual-core STEricsson U8500 Novathor SoC clocked at 1GHz, similar to a £99 smartphone like the Sony Xperia U.

There’s also 1GB of RAM, 8GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, a 4in Super AMOLED display with a 800 x 480 resolution, a 5-megapixel rear camera, Wi-Fi, GPS/GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0, a microUSB port, a 1,500mAh that can power the laptop for up to eight hours and a front-facing camera.

Unless you are a Samsung fanboy looking for a dumbed-down version of the Galaxy S3, there are better options available on the market like the Acer Cloud Mobile or similar handsets that cost less. You can read our review of the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini smartphone here.
