The successor of the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini has appeared on Samsung’s UAProf (User Agent Profile) website and gives some more details about the Galaxy S4 Mini, which will be known as the GT-I9190.
The XML file lists the screen resolution and the model number of the S4 Mini. Unsurprisingly, the S4 Mini appears to be a very slight improvement on the S3 Mini (at least when it comes to screen and resolution), moving from a 4in 800 x 480 display to a 4.3in 960 x 540 pixels.
The S4 Mini is expected to come in two flavours with a Duo version sporting two SIM cards. In addition, one can expect Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Touch Wiz Nature UX, AGPS, Wi-Fi, an 8-megapixel camera and a quad-core SoC, possibly an Exynos 4412, the same that powered the Galaxy S3.
Personally, I don’t see the point of calling a 4.3in smartphone a “mini” smartphone but one needs to bear in mind that the S4 has a 5in display. You can read our review of the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini here as well as our hands on the Samsung Galaxy S4.
The Galaxy S3 mini is now available on £14 monthly contracts and can be had for as little as £220 SIM Free.
