Amidst rumours about the imminent launch of the follow up of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Carphone Warehouse has dropped the contract price of that smartphone with unlimited data to only £25 per month, that’s a total cost of ownership of £600 only, a bargain considering that the retailer sells the phone on PAYG for £560 and on SIM Free for £475.
The offer is only valid online (although you can pick it up instore) and comes from Three; the plan, Ultimate Internet, includes 500 minutes, 5000 texts and unlimited data but no tethering. Check out our review of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 smartphone which was launched in IFA in September.
Don’t forget that Samsung is still giving away until the end of the month a number of goodies (for S3 and Galaxy Note 2 users) including a free 16GB memory card, a two year warranty upgrade as well as content (video, music, games) worth a whopping £65.
The Galaxy S3 is available on pay monthly contracts as cheap as £15.50 per month while the more powerful, stylus-enabled Galaxy Note 2 is available on contracts from a mere £20.50 per month.
