Cheapest Google Nexus 7 tablet down to £149.99

The Google Nexus 7 tablet is available from eBay for as little as £149.99 including free delivery and 150 Nectar points. This is the 32GB model and is sold by Argos via its outlet. The suggested retail price of that tablet is around £200.

This is a manufacturer refurbished model which means that it comes with a 12-month warranty as well.

The device comes with a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 SoC clocked at 1.2GHz with 1GB of RAM, 32GB onboard storage, a 7in IPS 1,280 x 800 pixel display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a front facing camera, up to 10 hours battery life and a mere 10mm thick.

The Google Nexus 7 was launched last year and its arrival changed the small-format tablet market overnight. Some might even say that it compelled Apple to launch the iPad Mini.

Samsung and Acer were forced to adjust their portfolios subsequently and a number of smaller vendors had to change their plans as well. The Nexus 7 though made quality tablets more affordable and manufacturers more price sensitive.

The tablet’s follow up is likely to come in a couple of months with a few improvements. Don’t expect a microSD card slot or a rear camera yet though. You can check the review of the Google Nexus 7 here.
