You can get the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 smartphone for £393.61 from Amazon (to which you need to add £8.08 for the delivery). This is by far the cheapest price for this exceptional piece of kit which is sold and dispatched by Amazon’s partner Wowcamera.
The handset was unveiled back in September 2012 at IFA in Germany. It comes with an S Pen stylus and packs even better hardware than the Samsung Galaxy S3.
There’s a quad-core Exynos 4412 SoC clocked at 1.6GHz, 1GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, a 5.5in Super AMOLED HD display with a 1,280 x 720 pixel resolution, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a front-facing 2-megapixel one, a 3,100mAh battery, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and a microSD card slot.
Samsung has judiciously included a number of applications that make the most of the stylus and the big screen of the Note 2. These are Air View, Quick Command, Popup Note, Photo Note, Easy Clip and a few others.
The follow-up of the Galaxy Note 2 is expected to launch later this year at IFA and rumours say that it will come with a plastic OLED display which will allow it to be lighter and consume even less power. You can read the review of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 here.
