HANNspree is much better known for its monitors and like so many other manufacturers thought that the jump from peripherals to tablets was going to be an easy one.
Unfortunately, that didn’t proved to be the case, which explains why the SN10T130 wasn’t what I’d consider to be a massive commercial success.
Some stock of the product are on sale at SVP. They are refurbished models that come with six months warranty, with manuals, cables and software and cost only £65, an excellent price for what is being offered. The SN10T130 runs on a dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 SoC clocked at 1GHz.
There’s also 512MB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot, a 10.1in 1,024 x 600 pixel display, HDMI out, Bluetooth, Mini USB, Wi-Fi and run on Android 2.2. It is chubby to say the least (14mm thick and 745g).
The tablet will be ideal for a younger audience although the lack of a newer operating system means that the SN10T130 will not have access to Google Play.
Yet as a super-sized media player with potentially up to 64GB storage, it will prove to be an invaluable asset for long car journeys.
