Blackberry Q10 contract prices start from £31 a month with unlimited data

Popular handset retailer Chitter Chatter is selling the Blackberry Q10 smartphone for a mere £31 per month on a two-year contract with T-Mobile with a total cost of ownership of £754.

The offer includes 1,000 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited data (but excludes data tethering); that compares very favourably with what others have been offering.

The handset – which will please die-hard BB fans with its QWERTY keyboard and has sold more than 2,000 units at launch - packs the same hardware as the Blackberry Z10, its touchscreen alter ego.

There’s BlackBerry 10, a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, the MSM8960, clocked at 1.5GHz and with an LTE modem, 2GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, a 3.1in Super AMOLED display with a 720 x 720 pixel resolution, a microSD card slot, a 2,100mAh battery, an 8-megapixel rear camera and a front-facing 2-megapixel model.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, a microHDMI port and a microUSB connector.

The same deal from Phones4U comes with a whopping £299 upfront fee. The retailer is also selling the handset SIM Free for £550. Check out our hands on of the BlackBerry Q10 and the review of the BlackBerry Z10 here.
