Google search for Samsung Galaxy S4 surges past Galaxy S3 amidst growing interest

A query pitting the Samsung Galaxy S4 against the Galaxy S3, the Galaxy Note 2, the Google Nexus 4 and the HTC One showed that over the last 30 days, search requests carried out via Google search for the term “Galaxy S4” in the UK grew massively, from around the 21 April onwards. You can check the updated version here.

Surprisingly as well, search queries for the Galaxy S3, the previous champ from the Samsung’s stable, and for the Galaxy Note 2 were up slightly. That contrasted with a fall in interest from the Google Nexus 4 and the HTC One. However Apple’s iPhone 5 smartphone remains the absolute champion when it comes to search queries.

England remains by far the region where the most request for the Galaxy S4 emanated. The device started to ship to customers that had pre-ordered it from Friday 26 onwards which explains the surge in interest.
