Eight cores for the CPU and the GPU that what can be expected from the forthcoming system-on-chip that will power the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 according to a report published by tech website Sammobile.
A Samsung insider claims that the device will be the most wanted device from Samsung and will “sell like hot cackes”. It’s worth nothing that the Samsung Galaxy S4 launched mid-March which means that the Galaxy Note 3 is likely to be launched at IFA, almost exactly six months later.
Oddly enough though, the Galaxy Note 3 is rumoured to have the same screen as the Galaxy S4, which wasn’t the case in previous generations. One can therefore expect a 5.99in full HD Super AMOLED display.
The rest of the configuration is rumoured to include a 13-megapixel camera like the Galaxy S4, an Exynos 5 Octa Core with a Mali 450 GPU, 3GB of RAM, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean (and possibly Key Lime Pie) plus TouchWiz Nature UX 2.0.
The final design of the Galaxy Note 3 has yet to be confirmed though it seems as Samsung is said to be undecided between sticking to the existing design of the Galaxy Note 2, adopting the design of the Galaxy S4 or coming up with a brand new one.
