Corel giving away Painter 12 with Draw Graphics suite X6

Until the end of June, you will be able to grab a free copy of Painter 12 for Windows or Mac, when you purchase a copy (either boxed or download) of Corel Draw Graphics Suite X6.

The latter is hailed as a potential alternative to Adobe's Creative Suite, especially after the company has decided to bet its future on the cloud and offered suite as a service.

Painter 12 carries a suggested retail price of £275 and has been around for more than a decade; its original developer, Fractal, was acquired by Corel.

Corel Draw Graphics Suite X6, which is only available for Windows, carries a recommended retail price of just under £480 but you can snatch it from ecostsoftware for £311.30.

The suite includes CorelDraw X6, Photo-paint X6, PowerTrace X6, Website Creator X6, Capture X6, PhotoZoom Pro 2, Conceptshare plus, as it is usually the case with Corel, thousands of cliparts, digital images, OpenType fonts, photos, frames and pattersm

To get the free application, customers will need to purchase the graphics package first, then complete a claim form at
