Price of Octa-Core Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone drops below £500

Popular eBay retailer, E_cell, is selling the Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone for as little as £499.99 with free delivery and 500 Nectar points. That's nearly 10 per cent less than the next cheapest Galaxy S4 on the market and a whole 20 per cent less than its initial retail price tag of £599.99.

What's even more surprising is that this device, which is also known as the i9500, is the Octa-core model which is not on sale in the UK (which means that this model is a gray import). Note that it does come with a full one year warranty and is a brand new model.

This Galaxy S4 has eight cores with two quad-core lots. The first one is made up of Cortex-A15 modules clocked at 1.5GHz while the other ones are Cortex-A7 ones clocked at 1.2GHz.

Other notable features include a 13-megapixel rear camera, 16GB onboard storage, 2GB of RAM, a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, a 5in 1,920 x 1,080 pixel Super AMOLED display, a 2-megapixel front facing one, a 2,600mAh battery and a slew of exclusive Samsung features.
