Price of Sony Xperia Z smartphone drops down to £415

Ebay top-rated seller e_cell sells the Sony Xperia Z C6603 smartphone for a mere £415, a price that includes 415 Nectar points and free delivery. This is a SIM free model that comes with a full one-year warranty.

The device was unveiled at CES earlier this year and while it does sport a similar configuration to the top of the range smartphone from Samsung and HTC (the Galaxy S4 and the HTC One), its system-on-chip is notably slower (both in terms of speed – 1.5GHz - and architecture – it doesn't use the latest Snapdragon 600 chip) which leaves us to believe that Sony may unveil another updated handset fairly soon.

The rest of the specification though is up to scratch. There's 2GB of RAM, 4G LTE connectivity, 16GB onboard storage, dust proof and water proof, NFC, a rear 13-megapixel camera with Exmor RS HDR imaging technology with a front facing 2-mehapixel one, a microSD card slot, a 5in 1,920 x 1,080 display infused with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 and Reality technology.
