Did Ebuyer “give away” Dell 3330DN laser printers worth £600?

The business-ready Dell 3330DN laser printer costs a massive £602.40 including a basic three year next business day warranty at Dell. Yet somehow, over the weekend, that printer was available for as little as zilch/nought/zero, from Ebuyer. The offer is, unfortunately no longer available.

The printer was available for just under £200 and comes with a free Ricoh Aficio SP100SU multifunction laser printer (worth £59.99 on its own), a £75 cashback (via and another £100 when you trade in an equivalent laser printer, which when tallied, means that the Dell 3330DN was essentially free.

The bonus was the extended three year next-business day warranty that's worth £120 on its own. Ebuyer confirmed that both the cashbacks will be honoured by Dell which is highly unusual.

As for the printer itself, it supports Windows RT and Windows 8, has a maximum print speed of 38 pages per minutes, comes with full duplex capabilities by default and a print resolution of 1,200 x 1,200 dpi.

Note that the printer is also covered by a Dell money back guarantee (you get a full refund if you experience a genuine technical fault during the 12 months following the purchase of the product).

We will update this article if ever Ebuyer put the same offer online again.
