Sumvision Cyclone Voyager 2 Tablet PC now available from £190

The Sumvision Cyclone Voyager 2 tablet went on sale a while back for £220 but Ebuyer has now reduced its price to a mere £190 including delivery. This is possibly one of the best 10in tablets on the market, as far as value for money is concerned.

The device is not much more expensive than the Google Nexus 7 and if you don't mind the bulk (605g and a thickness of 11mm) and the name, you will end up with a better device altogether.

The Cyclone Voyager 2 is powered by a Rockchip RK3188 SoC. This is a quad-core Cortex-A9 based model clocked at 1.6GHz, that's nearly 25 per cent faster than the Tegra 3 on the Nexus 7. It also has a quad-core graphics ARM Mali-400 GPU.

Other features include 2GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, a 10.1in IPS display with a 1,280 x 800 pixel display, Bluetooth, a rear 5-megapixel camera and a front facing 2-megapixel one, a mini HDMI port, two USB ones, Wi-Fi and a 7,600mAh battery.

In a nutshell, a pretty powerful tablet at a rock-bottom price; it is the only quad-core device with 2GB under £200 at the time of writing. You can check our hands-on of the Sumvision Cyclone Voyager 2 tablet here.
