Amazon.fr and Amazon.de have both listed Microsoft's just announced gaming console, the Xbox One, for a staggering €599.99, that's around £550, roughly four times what you'd spend on the entry level Xbox 360 4GB slim.
We're confident though that this is not the final price of the console and Amazon stated that should the price fall between now and the official launch date, then the customer will be charged the cheapest published price.
The console will come with a second-generation Kinect motion sensor and has adopted a rather boxy design, miles away from the traditional, conventional-looking gaming consoles.
Interestingly enough, Amazon has also put the Sony Playstation 4 (PS4) gaming console for the same price as the Xbox One. Both will come with an AMD Fusion system-on-chip that come with eight x86 Jaguar Cores, an AMD Radeon HD graphics with GCN architecture, 32MB ESRAM/EDRAM buffer, 8GB DDR3 memory, a Blu-ray player, 500GB hard disk drive, a 7.1-channel audio, Wi-Fi and compatibility with 4K output.
