Our third walkthrough with IBM Technical Specialist, Jonathan Tyrell, turns to the SmartCloud Entry interface.
This allows the PureFlex infrastructure-as-a-service to operate as a private cloud. You can manage X86 and Power virtual environments, and set up users with credit accounts to spend on virtual resources. Projects can be configured with virtual appliances assigned to them.
Users and administrators see the same basic interface, but with fewer options for users. Deployment can take as few as four clicks, providing a true self-service portal for development teams to make most efficient use of the PureSystems private cloud.
