If you're not sure what to listen to next on Spotify, the music-streaming service has some recommendations for you.
Spotify has announced that a new Discover page, which offers up personalised song and playlist recommendations based on your favourite music, is now available to all users through its web player. The company first began rolling out the feature in April as part of a limited release for a small percentage of UK and Nordic users.
According to Spotify, the Discover page "seeks out personalized recommendations by seamlessly combining Spotify's best-in-class technology and social tools with curated content from music experts including Pitchfork, Songkick, Tunigo, and much, much more."
On the Discover page, you'll get new recommendations every day, including new releases from artists you follow, and all the music and playlists shared by friends you follow.
"With the Discover page, we're making good on our promise of helping you choose what to listen to when faced with millions of songs," Gustav Söderström, chief product officer at Spotify, said. "We've made your listening experience more personal, more social and more current."
The page will also let you know when your favourite artists are touring in your area. In addition, when you play a song, you'll get instant recommendations of related music you might want to play next.
There's also an Audio Preview feature that allows you to sample music without moving away from the song you're playing. Just click and hold over any play button on the Discover page, and if you think it sounds good you can either save it for later or play it right away.
The Spotify web player is a good option when you don't have access to your Spotify desktop app. You can log into your account on the website and begin listening.
Spotify said the new Discover page will "gradually" roll out to its desktop and mobile apps.
