Our overview of the software management of IBM PureSystems now focuses on a core unique element: Application Patterns.
We have already provided an overview of IBM PureSystems Patterns in a previous piece. Now we look at how patterns are deployed and function in greater detail.
In this first of three parts, IBM Cloud Technical Consultant, Tony Barker, explains what Application Patterns are, how they sit within IBM's Platform as a Service, and how there are two different types: Virtual Application Patterns and Virtual Systems Patterns.
The first of these patterns allows applications to be deployed as quickly as possible, whilst the second provides much more control than the first. Over the next two articles, we will be going into detail about both.
Watch part two: Virtual Application Patterns.
Watch part three: Virtual System Patterns.
