UK’s cheapest 50in television set costs less than £350

The LG 50PA4500 TV is one which is often available on sale on TechdealsPro and we've managed to source one for less than £350 excluding delivery. At only £348.50 (after a 15 per cent discount thank to the voucher code W15), this entry level Plasma television set on sale at Bargain Crazy will be big enough for a medium-sized lounge.

It was launched back in 2012 and sports a rather enticing design with a very thin bezel. On the flip side, the LG 50PA4500 also offers a 1,024 x 768 pixel display, which is the lowest of its category and explains why it is so cheap.

The rest of its description sheet includes a Freeview tuner, two HDMI ports, Dolby Digital, a 3D Digital comb filter, a CI Slot, SCART, Triple XD Engine technology, VGA and USB connectors plus a 600Hz refresh rate, two 10W speakers and a resolution upscaler.

The device has a Class B energy efficiency rating, consuming 130W in use and 300mW in stand-by. It also has an Intelligent Sensor technology from LG that allows the device to automatically set itself to the optimal brightness, sharpness, colour and contrast.
