Online retailer Expansys is selling the HTC One X+ for a mere £350, a 13 per cent saving off its previous selling price of £400 (and a lot less than its original suggested retail price). The company is also giving away a free Krussel screen protector which is apparently worth £15 (making it one of the most expensive screen protectors around).
The HTC One X+ is a major improvement on the original HTC One X and has, IMHO, been eclipsed too quickly by the HTC One. It features a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 SoC clocked at 1.7GHz, 1GB of RAM and, uniquely amongst recent smartphones, 64GB onboard storage.
The rest of the specification sheet includes a 4.7in 1,280 x 720 pixel Super LCD 2 display, Beats Audio technology, a 2,100mAh battery, an 8-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor, an F2.0 aperture, a 28mm lens and full HD video recording plus a front-facing 1.6-megapixel camera.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/GLONASS, microUSB, NFC, DLNA. All in all, it is not a bad product especially when one accounts for the extra 48GB onboard storage. You can check out our review of the HTC One X+ smartphone here.
