Carphone Warehouse is selling the Nokia Lumia 920 Windows Phone 8 smartphone for as little as £25 per month on a two-year contract. That's a total cost of ownership of £600, which is about 25 per cent more than the cost of the handset itself.
The offer is available on Vodafone and comes with 300 minutes, unlimited texts, 250MB data and 1GB Wi-Fi with BT Openzone; a package which should be more than enough for light users. What's more, if you purchase the device before the end of June and apply online within 14 days you will get a free wireless music receiver worth £49.
As for the phone itself, it is made from a single-piece polycarbonate body with ceramic zirconium for side keys. Then there's a 4.5in ClearBlack display that can manipulated using gloves and has a 1,280 x 768 pixel display. Nokia says that it is the brightest, clearest and fastest touchscreen on the market, a bold claim indeed.
Other features include 4G compatibility, a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8960a SoC clocked at 1.5GHz, 1GB of RAM, 32GB onboard storage, an 8-megapixel rear camera with Carl Zeiss lens plus an array of free features from Nokia including Nokix Mix Radio, Nokia Maps, City Lens and more.
