The Nokia Lumia 900 Windows Phone smartphone might be 18 months old already but it is still a reasonably powerful device at the lower end of the spectrum, a clear sign of fast things have evolved in the smartphone market.
Tesco Mobile sells it for £15 per month with 250 minutes, 5000 texts and 500MB data on a two year contract. That's a total cost of ownership of £360 which sounds about right for what's on offer.
You can double the amount of minutes and the data allowance for an additional £30 over the duration of the contract (that's £2.50 per month).
You get a single-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255T SoC clocked at 1.4GHz with 512MB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, a 4.3in 800 x 480 pixel AMOLED ClearBlack display, Windows Phone 7.8, a rear 8-megapixel camera with a front-facing one and seven hours talk time.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS but no microSD card slot. And since this is a high end Nokia Windows Phone device, you can get a one piece polycarbonate body plus Nokia Drive, Nokia Maps, Nokia Music and more. You can check out our review of the Nokia Lumia 900 here.
