Online retailer Expansys is selling the Acer Liquid E1 Duo smartphone for a mere £150, a near 10 per cent discount off its original selling price. The device shares of lot of design cues from the two-year old Sensation, HTC's former top of the range super phone, including red hues and soft curves.
The device runs on a dual-core Mediatek SoC clocked at 1GHz, comes with 1GB of RAM, a 4.5in IPS display with a 960 x 540 pixel resolution, a 5-megapixel rear camera and DTS Sound technology that powers a pair of speakers and delivers music via an integrated Moodagent service that tailors music to match the users mood.
The rest of the feature list includes Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 4GB onboard storage with a microSD card slot, a front facing 0.3-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, a 1,760mAh battery that can power the device for up to eight hours and a chassis thickness of 9.9mm.
