You can get the Samsung Galaxy Note 8in tablet from Tesco for £284, that's a £20 saving off its suggested retail price, a discount that ends tonight. The offer also comes with free deliver and 304 Clubcard points that are worth up to four times their face value.
The device appears to be a tablet version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 smartphone without telephony capabilities but with a much bigger screen. It's worth mentioning that the latter is around £80 more expensive which may well be attractive to those looking for a nimbler but more capable alternative.
As expected you get an 8in 1,280 x 800 pixel display, the S-Pen stylus, a quad-core Samsung Exynos 4412 system-on-chip clocked at 1.6GHz, 2GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a microUSB port, a front-facing camera and a rear 5-megapixel one.
Samsung says that it can last up to 27 hours (possibly as an audio player). Check out our review of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 here and find out how engineers at the Korean company managed to include some nifty features like Air View.
