Free Dell 3330DN Mono Duplex Network laser printer makes comeback

Remember that free Dell business-oriented laser printer we covered a while back? Well it is back in stock at Ebuyer. The online retailer is selling the Dell 3330DN Mono duplex laser printer for £175 one whose price goes down to £0 when you account for a first £75 cashback followed by a trade-in offer for £100.

What's puzzling is that Ebuyer is bundling an apparently brand new Ricoh Aficio SP100SU multifunction mono laser printer, one worth £49.98, which can be used in the exchange. How either Ebuyer, Ricoh or Dell actually make money from this jaw-dropping, mind-numbing offer eludes us.

Perhaps it is the fact that they want as many people as possible to buy the printer and ignore the cost of buying a new toner (the high capacity 14,000 pages costs a rather reasonable £143 or around 1p per page). As for the 3330DN, it is a very decent mid-range printer, one that comes with free delivery, free next business day warranty and a 7,000 pages toner worth £144 (apparently).

It can print at up to 38ppm with a 1,200 x 1,200 DPI resolution, supports Windows RT, has a standard duplexer, an 4-line LCD, an Ethernet port and what Dell says is an "easy printer management interface".
