Deal: Sony Xperia Z smartphone from as little as £400

You can grab a Sony Xperia Z smartphone for under £400 from eBay seller, e_cell, with free delivery and 400 Nectar points. The Xperia Z has been replaced by the Xperia Z Ultra as Sony's top dog although the former remains the company's best traditional smartphone.

The handset was announced earlier this year at CES in Las Vegas. It is the only one of the four top Android smartphones on the market not to run on a Snapdragon 600 system-on-chip. Instead it is powered by a slower quad-core Qualcomm APQ8064 part clocked at 1.5GHz with a Qualcomm MDM modem.

Other features include a 5in full HD "Reality" display featuring Mobile Bravia 2 technology, a 2,330mAh battery, 4G connectivity, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, a 13-megapixel rear camera (with ExmorRS HDR technology) and a front facing 2-megapixel one, dust and water proof, 2GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage and a microSD card slot.
