Deal: £894 Acer Aspire V3-571G super powerful laptop

It's hard not to have mixed feelings for the Acer Aspire V3-571G laptop. On one side, it has some very decent components like 16GB of RAM, a quad-core, high end mobile processor and a dedicated graphics card. But on the other side, it is a bit expensive for what it offers.

Save on-laptops sells the Aspire V3-571G (otherwise known as the NX.M7EEK.002) for £894 including delivery and 893 Nectar points. It comes with a quad-core Intel Core i7-3632QM processor clocked at 2.2GHz, turbo boosted to 3.2GHz and with a 6MB cache.

The laptop is based on the Ivy Bridge, third generation Core architecture and therefore the CPU also comes with an Intel HD 4000 GPU. It doesn't however use it as there's a dedicated Nvidia Geforce GT730M that's present with 1GB of RAM.

The rest of the feature list includes a 15.6in Acer CineCrystal display with a 1,366 x 768 pixel resolution, Windows 8, 16GB of RAM, three USB ports, a 1TB hard disk drive, a DVD writer, Bluetooth 4.0, a VGA and HDMI ports and a card reader.

The laptop, which weighs a mere 2.6Kg, has a battery life of up to four hours.
