Deal: Apple iPhone 5 from £27 per month with unlimited data

The latest iPhone with an unlimited data plan for under £27, that's an appealing offer. The Apple iPhone 5 smartphone is currently available from T-Mobile reseller DirectMobiles on a two year contract with a £59 upfront fee. That's a total cost of ownership of £707 or an effective monthly fee of £29.49; not bad given that the phone itself costs £529 at Apple.

The deal includes 500 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited data, sadly without tethering, P2P or VoIP though. As for the phone, it is already an iconic product. Apple increased the size of the display to 4in and bumped the resolution to 1,136 x 640 pixels to keep the Retina Display appellation.

The phone is powered by an Apple system-on-chip, the A6, with 1GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, 4G connectivity, fll HD recording, an 8-megapixel iSight camera, Siri voice assistance, Facetime, EarPods and iOS 6 (soon to become iOS 7). You can read our review of the Apple iPhone 5 smartphone here.
