Samsung's biggest smartphone yet, the Galaxy Mega otherwise known as the GT-I9205ZKABTU, has seen its SIM Free price fall from £435 to £375, that's a £60 discount or 14 per cent price cut.
The Mega, which was showcased at a recent Samsung event, comes with a 6.3in display with a 1,280 x 720 pixel display, a dual-core system–on-chip clocked at 1.7GHz, a rear 8-megapixel camera, a front-facing 1.9-megapixel one, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, 802.11ac, a massive 3,200mAh battery, GPS, 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB onboard storage. You will be able to top that up to 72GB thanks to a microSD card.
As expected, it runs in Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz UI. Note that this version runs 4G LTE. Samsung also bundled a number of applications like S Voice, S Travel, Samsung Link and Samsung WatchOn.
We'd rather go for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for £367. It is much smaller at 5.5in but offers better hardware specification including 2GB of RAM and a quad-core system-on-chip.
