Huawei Ascend P6 smartphone goes on sale for under £20 per month

Chinese manufacturer Huawei unveiled the Ascend P6 smartphone only a few weeks ago and already it is on sale at BuyMobilePhones for a mere £20.50 per month with a £20 automatic cashback. That's a total cost of ownership of £472 or an effective monthly cost of £19.67 per month.

That compares very well with the £370 that some online retailers are charging for the handset by itself. The plans are on Orange and include either 200 minutes and 100MB data or 100 minutes and 500MB data plus 1 free Swapable and unlimited BT Openzone Wi-Fi. In both cases, you get unlimited data.

For £1.50 per month extra, you can upgrade to O2 and get 300 minutes, 500MB data, unlimited texts as well as tethering, unlimited O2 Wi-Fi, Priority Moments and two months free subscriptions to O2 Tracks.

As for the Ascend P6, it is the slimmest smartphone launched yet at 6.18mm. it comes with a quad-core system-on-chip, a 4.7in HD display, 8GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot, a front-facing 5-megapixel camera, a rear 13-megapixel one and much more.
