Samsung Galaxy Mega now available from under £26 a month

It looks as if manufacturers are now aware that it serves no good purpose to unveil a smartphone without actually starting to sell it pretty fast. In other words, so-called paper launches are pretty much useless.

BuyMobilePhones is selling the Samsung Galaxy Mega smartphone for a mere £26 per month on a two-year contract. That's a total cost of ownership of £614 after an automatic cashback and an effective monthly outlay of £25.58.

Two deals are available at this price three from T-Orange. Both come with unlimited texts. One with 400 minutes and 250MB data and the other with 200 minutes, 750MB data, two free Swapables and unlimited BT Openzone Wi-Fi.

For a tad more (£26), you get either 600 minutes and 250MB data or 300 minutes and 1GB data from T-Mobile. From £27 onwards, you can even get packages with unlimited data or unlimited minutes.

The Galaxy mega has a 6.3in display with a 1,280 x720 pixel Super AMOLED display, a massive 3,200mAh battery, a dual-core SoC clocked at 1.7GHz, 1.5GB of RAM and much more.
