Head over to BuyMobilePhones if you are after the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini (which looks like the S3 but has Galaxy S2 parts). The retailer sells it on O2 for £14 per month on a two-year contract, that's a total cost of ownership of £336, which is nearly 40 per cent more than the cost of the phone itself (you can get it for under £200 on SIM Free). The O2 plan includes only 50 minutes and 100MB data but you also get unlimited texts, tethering, unlimited O2 Wi-Fi hotspot, Priority Moments and two months free O2 tracks.
As for the phone itself, it comes with a dual-core ST-Ericsson Novathor U9500 SoC clocked at 1GHz with 512MB of RAM, 8GB onboard storage, a 4in Super AMOLED 800 x 480 pixel display with a Pentile matrix, a rear 5-megapixel camera, a front facing camera Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, TouchUX user interface and a 1,500mAh battery. The camera is all but pocket-sized as the marketing literature would describe it. Check out our review of the Samsung Galaxy S3 mini smartphone here.
