For many, the Samsung Galaxy S4 was seen as an understatement especially when it comes to the finished product. In comparison, the HTC One is considered by many as one of the best smartphones ever launched when it comes to its design, with a stunning finish and an aluminium chassis that puts the plastic on the S4 to shame.
MobilePhonesDirect sells the HTC One on a two-year contract for £25 per month with an upfront fee of either £24.99 or £49.99. That translates into a total cost of ownership/effective monthly fee of £625/£26.05 and £650/£27.08 respectively. Both plans are on Vodafone and both provide with unlimited texts.
In the first instance, you get 100 minutes, 100MB data and 2GB BT Openxone. The second plan provides with 300 minutes, 250MB data and 1GB BT Openzone.
The HTC One was unveiled earlier this year and comes with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 SoC clocked at 1.7GHz. There's also 2GB of RAM, 32GB onboard storage, a 4.7n full HD display, 4G compatibility, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean plus an array of features llike Blinkfeed, Zoe and a four Ultrapixel camera which has a bigger pixel than a standard sensor.
