Days after the launch of the Lumia 1020 smartphone, online retailer Expansys has dropped the price of the Nokia Lumia 920 Windows Phone 8 smartphone to a mere £330, that's a £100 drop off its previous selling price, a near 24 per cent discount. The device was unveiled 10 months ago, alongside the Lumia 820 in New York and Expansys' price cut means that the Lumia 820 is likely to follow suit.
Bearing in mind that both the Lumia 925 and the Lumia 1020 have roughly the same configuration (bar the outstanding camera on the latter), then it does appear that a £330 920 is quite a deal indeed. This 4G-LTE device comes with a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8960a system-on-chip clocked at 1.5GHz, a 4.5in PureMotion display with a 1,280 x 768 pixel resolution (that can be handled with gloves), 1GB of RAM, 32GB onboard storage, an 8.7-megapixel PureView rear camera with full HD video, Carl Zeiss optics and a 2000mAh battery.
One thing the Lumia 920 is not is thin and light. At nearly 11mm thick and weighing 185g, its size rivals phablets like the Galaxy Note 2 or the Huawei Ascend Mate. Check out our review of Nokia Lumia 920 smartphone here.
