There's not much to write about when it comes to the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini. It is a phone with which we have a love-hate relationship (as we elaborated here). It launched at around £300 last year and back then, we considered it to be far too expensive for what it offered, which is essentially the same as the Sony Xperia U (and now the Huawei Ascend Y300).
The phone is on sale at O2 on PAYG for £180 excluding a compulsory £10 top up. You should be able to use it on Tesco Mobile and Giff Gaff.
You get a dual-core ST-Ericsson U8500 SoC clocked at 1GHz, Smart Stay, S Voice and Direct call functionalities, a 4in display with a 800 x 480 pixel resolution, 8GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot, up to seven hours talk time, a rear 5-megapixel camera and a VGA one in front, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz UI,
Note that the Galaxy Ace 3 appears to be a slightly modified version of the Galaxy S3 Mini. There are other better smartphones (at least on paper) like the Acer CloudMobile which has a much more powerful system-on-chip and a HD display. You can read our review of the Samsung Galaxy S3 mini here.
