You can grab the 3G version of the Samsung Galaxy Camera for £331 at Amazon with a free extra battery charger kit and a 7in Samsung Galaxy Tab. These two goodies are worth around £140 on their own. You have until 31 August to grab the free tablet.
The camera was launched last year at IFA in Germany and earlier this year, a Samsung Galaxy Zoom camera attempted to merge a Galaxy smartphone and a simpler version of this camera. The Galaxy Camera (known as the GC100 black) remains the benchmark.
It is essentially a Samsung Galaxy S3 (minus a couple of features) with a 16-megapixel rear camera at the back plus a 21x optical zoom. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, has a Samsung Exynos 4412 SoC clocked at 1.4GHz, 1GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage, a 23mm wide angle lens, a massive 4.8in Super AMOLED HD display with a 1,280 x 720 pixel resolution, 50GB Dropbox storage for two years, a card reader.
There's no front-facing camera though but Samsung did bundle a few interesting features geared towards the semi-professional users like a photo wizard, voice control, movie wizard and more. Check out our review of the Samsung Galaxy Camera EK-GC100 here.
