Deal: £330 Asus VivoBook S200E-CT216H 11.6in touchscreen laptop

If you are looking for an affordable laptop that is smaller than a 13.3in model, bigger than a 11.6in one and doesn't come with netbook hardware, then your choice is very limited. Fortunately, the Asus VivoBook S200E-CT216H packs pretty much everything you'd expect from a moderately priced device.

Amazon sells it for £330, a 28 per cent discount off its SRP of £460. It comes with an Intel Core i3-2365M processor, a dual-core model clocked at 1.4GHz and based on the Sandy Bridge architecture (which implies that it comes with the Intel HD Graphics 3000).

There's also 4GB of RAM, an 11.6in touchscreen display with a 1,366 x 768 pixel resolution, a 500GB hard disk drive, up to five hours battery life, a smart gesture touchpad, HD web camera, Windows 8, USB 3.0, HDMI, SonicMaster technology with Waves MaxxAudio 3 and a free three-year subscription to Asus Webstorage (with 32GB to boot from)

The device, which weighs a mere 1.3Kg and would fit on an A4 sheet, comes with a design that's reminiscent of the Apple MacBook Air. Check out our review of the Asus Vivobook S200E-C157H here.
