Carphone Warehouse's subsidiary Mobiles.co.uk sells the Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone for a mere £27 per month on a two year contract with mobile phone operator O2. That's a total cost of ownership of £648, which is about £200 more than the cost of the SIM free version of the phone by itself.
There are two plans available for that monthly fee with the better one offering 600 minutes, 750MB data allowance and unlimited texts. You should also get O2 Priority Moments goodies plus potentially free Wi-Fi as well. Surprisingly enough, it only costs £5 extra per month to get unlimited minutes and an extra 33 per cent data allowance.
The Galaxy S4, which spawned a number of variants like the S4 Mini, the S4 Zoom and the S4 Active, was unveiled earlier this year and is the fastest shipped smartphone on the market (until the Sony Xperia Z Ultra appears that is). It comes with a 5in display with a 1,920 x 1,080 pixel resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 SoC clocked at 1.9GHz, 4G/LTE functionality, a 13-megapixel rear camera and much more. Interested?
