Samsung Galaxy S4 now available in UK exclusive new Arctic Blue model

If the Samsung Galaxy S4 (opens in new tab) has failed to capture your imagination thus far, then an exclusive new blue version of the handset may well be the shake up you need.

Available now in the UK via Phones 4U, the Samsung Galaxy S4 in 'Arctic Blue' (opens in new tab) will feature the same specifications as the monochrome Galaxy S4 models first unveiled back in March.

Key specs for Samsung's currently flagship smartphone include a 5in, Full HD display, 13-megapixel camera, and 1.9GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 chipset.

Elsewhere, the Galaxy S4 offers 2GB of RAM, a microSD card slot, and is compatible with the UK's budding 4G LTE spectrum.

Available free on contracts from £37 a month, the new Arctic Blue Galaxy S4 is the latest rapid fire product refresh from Samsung, albeit only an aesthetic one. Samsung has also revealed the Galaxy S4 in fiery Aurora Red, though that variant hasn't broken cover in the UK just yet.

In addition to the chichi makeover given to the flagship S4, the Korean smartphone manufacturer recently bolstered its line-up with the Galaxy S4 Zoom, Galaxy S4 Active, and Galaxy S4 mini.

Though Samsung is still the runaway global smartphone leader in terms of units shipped, a recent report showed that smaller firms like ZTE and Huawei are starting to hunt down the Galaxy S4 and iPhone (opens in new tab), nabbing market share off the larger manufacturers in the process.
