E2Save, a subsidiary of retail giant Carphone Warehouse, offers the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom smartphone for £29 per month on a two year contract. You can choose as free gift, either a refurbished Amazon Kindle tablet or £50 cash. Opting for the latter brings the total cost of ownership of the device to a mere £646 or around £26.92 per month. That's the cheapest we've seen for the Galaxy S4 Zoom, a handset that has only been recently announced.
The bundle offers 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 250MB data, which should be enough for moderate users. As for the Galaxy S4 Zoom itself, it packs a dual-core system-on-chip clocked at 1.5GHz with 4G/LTE capabilities (possibly a Qualcomm one), with 1GB of RAM, 8GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot, a 2,330mAh battery, a 4.3in display with a 960 x 540 pixel resolution, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
Its unique selling point however remains its humongous 10x zoom that is attached to a 16-megapixel sensor and provides what is arguably the best all-rounder camera currently found on any smartphone. Interested? Check out our Hands on with Galaxy S4 Zoom here.
